Good morning, BEVC 18s.
This is a reminder that we have a practice session scheduled for today from 3-5pm at Robert Smalls Leadership Academy. As the RSLA gym floor is being resurfaced, this will likely be our only practice opportunity this week before our first tournament on January 3-4 in Charleston, SC. I encourage everyone to attend today's practice.
We are also scheduled to participate in the PM wave at the Apex VBC in North Charleston next weekend. Although the January Jam tournament schedule has not been released as of today, it is expected to be available on AES by Tuesday or Wednesday. As a general reminder, I request that everyone arrives at least an hour prior to the scheduled start time for each tournament. This allows us to be prepared in case the tournament runs ahead of schedule. Additionally, I kindly request parental assistance in preparing treat bags for the athletes, which can include a variety of snacks, such as candies, cookies, granola bars, fruits, and sandwiches, as well as sport drinks or water. These treat bags will help minimize expenses at the concession stands at the tournament.
But anyway, I’m so excited for this season. I feel we have an awesome group of young ladies who is eager to learn, grow but also be competitive. See you all in few.
